Kiser's Orthotic & Prosthetic Services, Inc. was founded by Michael Kiser CO and Frances Kiser CPO.... a husband and wife team dedicated to assisting the amputee and orthopedically challenged person to regain their normal life styles in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts.We feel that owning our own practice allows us the flexibility to provide a higher level of care to our patients that was not allowed us in the larger remotely owned offices. We feel this allows us the time necessary to fully assess the needs of our patients, to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
Because of this fact we have retained many hard to fit clients that have been to other practioners previously. We are proud to provide a small-town friendly feeling with a state of the art orthosis or prosthesis by keeping up with current trends in the field.
We are able to provide anything from custom myoelectric prostheses to custom made foot orthotics. Our team approach to each individual includes the expertise of physicians, therapists, social workers and especially the patient's aspirations and goals.
We strive to make your visit to Kiser's Orthotic and Prosthetic Services as comfortable as possible. Our helpful front office staff and our knowledgeable certified practioners will assist you with your needs.
Our orthosis and prostheses are made in our onsite lab right here in Keene by our experienced technicians. This allows us complete control from evaluation through the complete fabrication process all the way to the final fitting.
We feel that it’s important to have the same person monitor every stage of fabrication that has seen and knows the patient. Practioners in large practices with remote central fabrication services have no contact in the fabrication process and are less able the trouble shoot the device.
Kiser’s Orthotic and Prosthetic Services, Inc. maintains contracts with most major managed care organizations in our areas and is Medicare and Medicaid certified. We are contracted to provide services to the Veteran’s administration, and we service a wide variety of commercial insurances. Prospective patients may want to call their insurance customer service department to verify individual coverage, or we can assist with this process. We bill all insurance on behalf of the patient. Both offices are on an appointment only basis and prescriptions are required.
